This warm and extremely comfortable jacket from Regatta is a versatile choice that can adapt to a range of weather conditions. It comes with a detachable softshell inner which can be worn alone as a lightweight, shower-proof jacket – it has all the softness and comfort of a fleece, but with the added benefit of extra protection against brief showers or strong winds. The inner jacket has two zipped pockets, so keys, phone and other essential items can be kept safe but accessible.

The outer can also be worn alone, and is made from fully waterproof and breathable Isotex 20,000 stretch fabric, with two-way zips at the front and under the arms for extra ventilation. It has an adjustable hood, featuring a reinforced peak – this ensures water is kept off the face and the hood can't slip down over the eyes, allowing good visibility whatever the weather. There's a soft, fleecy lining around the neck which keeps out cold, biting winds, and is comfortable against the skin.

An inner pocket keeps valuables safe and secure, and two deep, zipped front pockets hold everything you need to keep close at hand. There's also a handy, zipped sleeve pocket, ideal for a mobile phone. Adjustable cuffs and shockcord hem keep water out, even in the worst downpour.

Both the inner and outer layers are made from stretch fabric, allowing excellent freedom of movement whether mountain hiking or cycling. Movement never feels restricted, even during more strenuous activities.The jacket feels robust, durable and very warm, but not at all bulky.

Combined, the two layers offer excellent protection against the elements, protecting you from whatever the winter weather throws at you.
